Gipsy Moth IV
A special feature for 2008 was the visit by Gipsy Moth IV to Bradwell. We chartered Sir Francis Chichester's famous boat in June with over 100 people - young and not so young enjoying a once in a lifetime experience aboard her!

Ellen MacArthur Trust
This year we again hosted Ellen MacArthur Trust for 2 weeks in August, www.ellenmacarthurtrust.org giving young recovering cancer sufferers the opportunity to learn sailing skills and live with other young people from similar backgroungs.

RYA Onboard Scheme
Our first season as an RYA Onboard Centre has been all go! Steve jones, our Onboard Co-ordinator, has been active around the area spreading the RYA's aim of making it easier for young people to go sailing and get involved in local sailing activities. Talking to a wide range of people from sailing clubs, individuals and schools.
Our new fleet of Qba's, with its support rib, has been hired by several clubs around the River Blackwater Estuary.
The Tollesbury Sailing Club was launched in August as an RYA Onboard Sailing Partner.
Training
The new Basic Safety & Navigation Scheme is now included as part or our programme with the next course planned for 7 & 8 March 09. Contact us for more deatils or alternative dates
RYA Diesel Engine Course - Saturday 7 March 09
We now have a new trainer for this popular course.
Training will take place on the above date at a cost of £85 per person including course
notes, workbook, cerfiticate and lunch.

Birthday Parties
Looking for something different for a birthday treat or been on a resdiential?
Bring a minimum of 6 youngsters ages 9 for a fun activity day or 1/2 day.
We can arrange 1 session for 1/2 day or 2 sessions for full day.
Activities range from High Ropes Challenge, Archery, Crabbing, Biking, Kites or a full canoe day on the canal.
Fees: 1/2 day £18 per person
full day £28 per person
