Essex Outdoors

Essex Outdoors is Essex County Council's Outdoor Education service, delivering a range of high quality and high impact outdoor learning programmes at 6 centres both within the county, and in Wales. In particular, Essex Outdoors provides outdoor learning opportunities to young people.

Our centres deliver many different courses ranging from outdoor learning programmes and environmental education through to adventurous activity courses. We also deliver the Duke of Edinburgh's Award programme, leadership programmes for all, first aid, and National Governing Body courses for all ages including sailing, climbing, walking, kayaking, canoeing, mountain biking and powerboating.
